Pettneu am Arlberg
Pettneu a.A. in Tiroler Stantzertal is only 5 kilometers from the world famous St. Anton. Pettneu being a small idyllic local village has maintained most of its original charm. However this quiet village has some Guest houses and Hotels, superb restaurants and also a ski area of its own. Around Pettneu there are many hiking routes and alpine huts. Pettneu has also a camping area, a caravan park and a swimming hall.
Pettneu can offer a visitor a peaceful and much more authentic Tirolian alpine atmosphere at a reasonable price.
In winter a ski bus operates between Pettneu and St. Anton.
Pettneu is an excellent base to stay and do day excursions to surrounding areas. For example Lichtenstein (Switzerland), Merano (South Tirol, Italy), Garmisch (Germany) and Innsbruck (Austria) are all within only 100km from Pettneu.
